Community Impact Day

NABIP West Michigan is partnering with The West Coast Chamber for this event. We will be organizing at least 2 groups of volunteers. 1 group in the greater GR area, 1 in the Holland/ Zeeland area.

Join the 2,025 VOLUNTEERS STATEWIDE for Community Impact Day 2025! Building on the record-breaking success of 2024—when 1,522 volunteers supported organizations from Saugatuck to Grand Rapids—we’re uniting with the West Coast Chamber, Michigan Chamber, and Chambers across the state to make an even greater impact. With more volunteers, expanded communities, and your support, we can multiply our reach and make a lasting difference!

Event Schedule

·       1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Community Impact Volunteering - Various locations
·       4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: After Party (Optional)
·        After spending your afternoon volunteering out in our community, join us at the Holland Civic Center as we celebrate another successful Community Impact Day! Our area prides itself on the pervasive collaborative spirit of giving, and that's because of people like you, working for the greater good of our community.

Let's celebrate with free food and fun while you catch up with old friends, make new friends by sharing your volunteer experiences, meet the sponsors who help make this day possible, play some games, and enjoy a lovely afternoon in West Michigan!

Important Dates

·       Registration Deadline: April 10th to receive a free T-shirt

Additional Information

Specifics on the job location and tasks will be provided later. Many locations will be outdoor volunteering. Be ready for the weather.

Food Club Items Needed:

Community Action House uses reusable bags in a lot of their outreach to community members and at the Food Club & Opportunity Hub. Any kind of sturdy reusable bags are appreciated, as well as food pantry items with an expiration date at least 6 months out.
