Mike is the Founder and President of Comprehensive Benefits, Inc. an Employee Benefits Insurance Agency. Mike founded the firm in 1989 and serves the benefit needs of small and mid-market companies in SE Michigan. Mike has served on a number of Boards and Advisory councils in the insurance industry for over 20 years. Mike's service to NAHU began in 1995 as a local Leg chair and continued on a local, state and national level. This included being the President of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) from 2018 - 2019. Mike has been the recipient of numerous industry awards over his 38 year career in the insurance industry. Mike currently serves as Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of United Benefit Advisors (UBA) which is an Association of 130 independent Benefit planning firms throughout the nation. Mike has extensive experience in public speaking on Leadership, Employee Benefits and Healthcare Reform. Mike was a top fundraiser for the National MS Society and a member of their Millennium Club. Mike is an active member of the Metro Church of Christ in Sterling Heights. Mike enjoys traveling, hunting and golf. Mike and his wife, Jeanne, reside in Chesterfield and is the proud father of two adult children and the proud grandfather of three grandchildren.

With over 30 years of insurance industry experience, Suzy Alberts has been an insurance broker since 2001 and currently works for Comprehensive Benefits Inc., in Southfield, Michigan. Her background includes service with national ancillary and commercial health insurance carriers, as well as within the Blue Cross and Blue Shield system.

Suzy is very active with the National Association of Health Underwriters and is past president of both the Michigan and Metro Detroit AHU chapters. In addition to serving on various local, state and regional committees, Suzy has served as Chairperson of the National Communication Committee, Leading Producer's Round Table (LPRT), the NAHU Awards Committees, and the National Media Relations Committee. She currently serves as Manager of the National Professional Development Council.

In 2003, Suzy received NAHU's Distinguished Service Award and received the Spirit of Metro Detroit Award in 2016. In 2019, she was honored with the Region 3 Linda Erlenbach Lifetime Achievement Award.

Her past service includes 24 years on the Metro Detroit AHU Board of Directors, and over 10 years on the Michigan AHU board. Suzy is a Lifetime Qualifier in NAHU's Leading Producer's Round Table and attained the Soaring Eagle qualification in 2014.

In addition to work with NAHU, Suzy also serves on the Education Committee and Compliance Collaborative for United Benefits Advisors (UBA), and was a speaker during the recent UBA Account Managers Academy.

In addition to her passion for her industry, she is involved with Gleaners Food Bank of Greater Metro Detroit and other community service activities to provide food and housing to the homeless in the Metro Detroit area. Suzy and her husband, Paul Bauer, live in Warren, Michigan.
