Dave Cuneo is the founder of Health Plan Advocate with 30+ years of experience in the health management field. He served as President of the area's largest non-profit utilization management company for over fifteen years and has had other key leadership responsibilities including management of a physician based PPO Network and serving as the President of HealthCare 2000, a West Michigan based employer purchasing coalition on health. He has served on many local and state boards including the Michigan Association of Health Coalitions, Leadership Grand Rapids Executive Committee, Healthy Kent 2000, Heart Walk Grand Rapids, Tobacco Free Partners, West Michigan Occupational Health Initiative, Chamber of Commerce Health Insurance Committee, United Way Allocations and Review Executive Committee, Legal Aid of Western Michigan, and others. Dave holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley State University.
